• Donating blood is a safe process, a sterile needle is used only once for each donor is discarded!
• Shortages of all blood types usually occur during the summer and winter holidays.
• The actual blood donation typically takes less that 10-12 minutes. The entire process, from the time you arrive to the time you leave, takes an hour.
• One donation can help save the lives up to 3 people.
  
  

FAMILY BIKE RIDE

When:
Saturday, May 12, 2007
Where:
Meet at the Williamsport basin of the C.O. Canal
Departing at:
10:30 AM (bike or walk westward at your own pace).
Lunch at:
11:30 AM (grassy area beside mile marker 101 to picnic and play games).
What to Bring:
Your own bagged lunch, drink and mode of transportation (proper shoes if you are walking, bike & helmet, or wagon with person to pull you)
Returning at:
12:30 PM

There will be a scavenger hunt for the adventurous!
